Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Poppy.Computer Tour be merged into Poppy.Computer. The Tour article reads as more of a promotion/advertisement, and the content (after if anything is to be removed) should fit fine into the album article. The article has also not been maintained, as there is conflict between information suggesting it's ongoing and a specified end date which has already passed. Tytrox (talk) 12:01, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
- The topic is notable and well sourced, the tour is over and the page is now updated, and as a stand-alone page it seems fine. This is also notable as the artist's first tour (a second has now been announced) and is consistent with tour pages for other recording artists. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:40, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
- I agree @Randy Kryn:. Poppy.Computer Tour is notable and should remain to its own article. I don't see any reason to merge it because the article is detailed and well-cited. hueman1 (talk) 01:40, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not challenging the notability, just suggesting that it could easily fit as its own heading in the album's article without necessity to be on its own. Why should it remain its own article? It just reads as 1 big ad (even if now past tense) by itself. This is a merger nomination, not deletion. Tytrox (talk) 06:24, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see the "one big ad" aspect, it reads as a factual encyclopedic page. The artist is prominent enough to have an article on her first tour, there is nothing unusual about the topic. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:39, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Merge. Barely notable tour and the article has very little content.TheLongTone (talk) 15:17, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
