I would also kindly ask the admin who applies this change to consider removing the protection for this page, as the original reason no longer applies and the protection is excessive by modern standards. (I'm perfectly fine to try to get in touch with the original admin and then go through WP:RFUP, but it feels a bit bureaucratic in this case.) Follow-up note: I did a double-check, and I feel I was somewhat mistaken when I said "reason no longer applies". 'Pop metal' was recreated in this 2021 edit. I personally really don't have a strong knowledge here of the appropriateness of a separate 'pop metal' page. Nevertheless, if there is an issue with 'pop metal', it's been more than enough time that this could be hashed out at a new AfD or a requested merge, but full protection seems inappropriate here especially given 'Pop metal' was unprotected in 2011.
