There was some confusion as to whether the company goes by the name Pono Music or PonoMusic. The Kickstarter page uses both, but almost all the articles and product references are a one word variation of a word starting with the Pono- prefix, so I named the company name article using the one word option. Adding to potential confusion, the company's music management software is also referred to as PonoMusic. There will likely need to be multiple disambiguation pages, for Pono Music (company), Pono Music (software), etc. Also note - there is an entry for Pono (audio format) which redirects to Pono (digital music service). Those are really two different articles and I vote to remove the redirect and include a reference to the FLAC article in the Pono (audio format) article. I left the Pono (Digital music service) entry separate rather than merging it with the company article, similar to how iTunes and Apple are different entries. However, the extensive company info can probably be removed from the Pono (Digital music service) article, since I copied a lot of it from the original article to my new company entry.Timtempleton (talk) 05:46, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The comparison with Apple/iTunes doesn't hold up: Apple is notable independently of iTunes, but at this point in time at least, all things Pono are notable only in relation to each other. Until such time as we have more than 50kb of readable prose, there should be just a single article on Pono/Music/Player.—Aquegg (talk) 07:46, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The site ponomusic.com is just a bunch of advertising links not closely related to the article; I have removed the link. Stub Mandrel (talk) 18:08, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
