[edit]Editors,
Please keep in mind that when you add some information, you ned to try and include a citation rom a source. The soure should be neutral and reputable. You can't just write "so-and-so is an alumnus", and then go over to the references page and write "so-and-so is an alumnus".
Think of this article as a research paper. You can't just write opinions. If you write down a claim, you need to be able to back it up with some other source.
Consider checking out Plano High School as an example of a really good article. It can act as a model as you try to put this one together.

Pranks?
[edit]If I can suggest: review WP:SCH#WNTI. This section is an overview by the Wikischools group as to what to not include in school related articles. Pranks, unless they are rather noteworthy beyond the local populace, likely don't meet the "longterm importance" needed for inclusion. I think there needs to be some commentary here, but my recommendation is that the section needs to go. It certainly mets WP:V, but I think it fails to meet long term notability. - It is more of an important event section, as events of this magnitude has never happened in the school excluding the student-teacher relationship and the student death. I feel that both of these events are noteworthily enough to be mentioned in the article and the same goes for the quail and the "bomb threat." However the title can be changed as the real school pranks (i.e. seniors riding bikes through the halls, a bucket of 10,000 bouncing balls dumped from the top floor, etc) do not need to be mentioned as pointed out by WP:SCH#WNTI. Own making
[edit]As Jake McCarty's death seems to have been of his own making, I'm not sure he deserves much sympathy.
