energy is not available or released when polyphosphate bonds are broken, it is available when the phosphate which was previously bound to anoter phosphate makes a lower energy bond. Merge in polypyrophosphate
[edit]Polypyrophosphate is just another name for polyphosphate- the article is an orphaned stub- the polypyro name name is popular in the areas of dental health amongst others - merge and create a redirect.Axiosaurus (talk) 10:36, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
