Incertae sedis and Doubtful Genera
[edit]For the Oriental Polyommatinae, the works of Eliot, 1973, Eliot & Kawazoe, 1983, and Hirowatari, 1992, are authoritative, especially in respect of the Polyommatini. I have marked many genera previously considered 'doubtful or incertae sedis on this page but which I consider to be definitively within the Polyommatini. I will return later to this page and remove from doubt the genera so marked, unless another contributor has strong substantiated opinions on why these genera should not be accepted in the Polyommatini.
