Paragraph on tolerance needs expansion.

Intolerance of such substances can usually be attributed to a gut inflammation due a high consumption of DASC (dense acellular short carbohydrates), and not the consumed substance. It should be clarified if there is any data on this. — 87.79.218.251 (talk) 01:08, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Polydextrose

The name of this compound only makes sense if it is a polymer of dextrose. The article says it is made with other ingredients but we're not told how those come in to the final form. If it incorporates monomers or moieties that are not dextrose that's a huge problem and should be mentioned in the text. morsontologica (talk) 23:52, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
