Notability
[edit]Ok, it's not exactly notable now, but there's no reason why it won't be at least as successful as Dog Fashion Disco, seeing as it's basically the exact same band.
The notability guideline for music says:
"Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable; note that it is often most appropriate to use redirects in place of articles on side projects, early bands and such."
Polkadot Cadaver obviously satisfies this. Pwrong (talk) 16:41, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed, however it seems you are looking into the future for notability as opposed to looking in the past as Wikipedia does. If they split up tomorrow would they still be notable? I would say no. It would be nice if there were some album reviews or real media coverage (other then blogs). Anyway... it seems to be on the line. I would lean towards keeping it if it came to a vote just based on the DFD connection. Gtstricky (talk) 16:52, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
The are quiete a number of band members from this group who have worked together with other projects, and are in fact doing so right now. They have music videos for their music, and even merchandice...so, why is this being suggested for deletion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.76.57.55 (talk) 17:01, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
