The song is most notable for its lyric: the man discovers love by accidentally bumping into a woman who has a pug nose. The others at the dance are looking strange at this, since she's not someone they'd think romantically about. But he has the last laugh: she becomes the love of his life, and he settles down with her.

[edit]Don't have time to look up the recording right now, as I'm winding down this archive-browsing session, but I did find mention of PDaM in a concert review from 1963: "Large crowd hears swinging concert at Winona State gym," Winona Daily News, October 2, 1963, page 9. Just couldn't figure out how to work in this item neatly since present version focuses on recordings. (They definitely DID record it, because I have theirs on my iPhone, but unfortunately don't have the album info since this track is from a mix someone gave me.)
