Aleman
[edit]Aleman stopped being president in 2002 and was sentenced to 20 years for fraud in 2003 - he was recently given some limited freedoms from the house arrest he is currently under to much controversey on both sides.
Have updated article.
Election results
[edit]Trying to find consistent and accurate results for the percentage of votes cast in the 2001 elections isn't easy -- many of the secondary sources disagree, and some of them repeat the 1996 results as 2001 results. Somebody with access to better sources should check this. ArglebargleIV 14:40, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
Important notice
[edit]The government section of the "Outline of Nicaragua" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.
When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.
Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

Thank you.
The article National Conservative Unity Party has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for references found two minor mentions in published works (gBooks), was unable to verify the article content beyond "it exists", fails WP:N and WP:V
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 16:49, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
