@Pbritti: DW says: "Polish media have reported that mercenaries from Poland were fighting on the side of the Ukrainian army under the name of the Polish Volunteer Corps." Polsat News says; "The Polish Volunteer Corps, a unit of mercenaries fighting as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has officially confirmed its participation in the operation in the Belgorod region". I am not sure how you did not see this. Please self-revert. Mellk (talk) 20:45, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Mellk: My bad, as the Polish-to-English translator I was using produced an inferior translation sans "mercenary". I've double-checked it against another translation and it looks like najemnicy definitely is a direct translation of "mercenary". ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:16, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, sorry, I did not realize this was a translator issue. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 21:18, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No need to apologize, as you caught me making an error. Good work! ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:19, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I should not have assumed that you saw a correct translation of the article (I also cannot fault you for using a translator, I sometimes use one for certain languages), but that's OK, glad we sorted that out. Mellk (talk) 21:26, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
