Name

[edit]

I think that Polish–Swedish War (1620–1622) would be a better name, as other Polish-Swedish wars exclude the periods under truce from their lenght in title.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 16:46, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merged

[edit]

I propose to merge the two articles because it makes no sense to make it about supposedly two separate wars as 1626-1629 was a further war only in Pomerania but also in Livonia so it could be done to merge and rename it Polish-Swedish War (1621-1629) Czekan pl (talk) 08:13, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose, what reliable sources have ever called it "Polish-Swedish War (1621–1629)"? I can only find one 1 but it does not appear to be reliable. Gvssy (talk) 09:42, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support. Many sources link the two wars together, as one large war. Another alternative would be "Polish–Swedish Wars", which i saw being used by one historian. Tinkaer1991 (talk) 17:51, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. The best solution is to keep these wars separated. FrinkMan (talk) 21:52, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
