Glossary of terms

This looks useful [1] (external link #2 at the French page I translated from). But from the way I worded the comment I think I meant a wikipedia page, not something as official as the Ministry of Justice. I will click around.

Side comment: I translated délits here as "misdemeanor". As I recall I agreed with you a week or so ago that it's more serious an offence than that, could you check the text out? I am lucid but very tired and not available for research. Thanks :) Elinruby (talk) 01:20, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

@Mathglot: I am more or less ok, just very tired from all the trains, buses and ferries. A couple of symptoms have flared up and I am just seeking medical attentuon for them before the last leg up the Highway from Hell, lol. Just a precaution in case the highway falls apart again. And yeah, that's what I thought at the time -- good idea past me for flagging it, even if I could have been more specific. By coincidence, I just watched the film, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (with John Candy and Steve Martin) yesterday that sounds a lot like your ordeal. It's kind of escapist slapstick and silly in a lot of places, but quite funny, and with some great acting performances. Maybe not the best film for you to watch right now, but when you're back home and this is all in the rear view mirror, I bet you would get a big laugh out of it. ...and, I am being admitted because they can't do a CAT scan until tomorrow, but that too is purely a precaution; they agree that we should rule stuff out before I go up in the mountains, in case the entire transportation system screams to a halt again this winter.
