I might be biased in this issue as I am the page creator, but if this is truly worthy of being deleted because Botelho isn't notable enough (despite being part of MMA's biggest organization and having won a championship) then there are other MMA pages that should theoretically go as well.
I don't favor going through and deleting a lot of other pages, but if Botelho isn't notable enough, than neither is Ashley Yoder, for example, who has a worse record and no experience holding a title for any promotion...
For now, while Botelho is part of the UFC, I think it's sensible to keep her page. If she's quickly cut from the UFC before establishing herself as significant, then her page should go. LilacLunatic (talk) 19:00, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The long standing WP:NMMA is pretty clear. Three top tier fights of which Botelho is yet to have even one. The notability tag only means that the problem has been noted - and the article could be sent for deletion at another time. You are right there seems to be a rash of recently created articles that also fail. I don't like sending articles to Articles for Deletion (AfD) especially when newly created but a lot of these will eventually go there.PRehse (talk) 19:14, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
