- The language of France Poitevin (language) has been redirected to Poitevin-Saintongeais. However, the Poitevin Saintongeais has been removed from the official list of languages in France since March 2007. Poitevin (language) which, together with the Saintongeais have resumed their historic place, as evidenced in ancient texts for more than 8 centuries.
