Personnel changes
[edit]I don't really know this band, so could someone familiar with them do a personnel chart, like this one. 75pickup (talk · contribs) 75pickup 02:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Pete Frame's book the Complete Rock and Roll Family Tree shows Poco emerging from the break up of the Buffalo Springfield and shows connections to the Byrds, the Eagles and various others. As far as Eagles members that have been in Poco, that subject is covered in this article but for brevity's sake, Randy Meisner and Timothy B Schmidt are both former Poco members.Devildave (talk) 20:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
POCO
[edit]What does POCO mean? Is there a translation? What is the meaning of Poco? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.173.113.206 (talk) 18:16, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
It is a musical term meaning to diminish to a "small measure"Devildave (talk) 20:00, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]Hi all. I've suggested that List of Poco Line-ups be merged into this article as it is insufficiently contextualised to stand on its own, and doesn't possess enough encyclopedic content to stand on its own. Cheers. [ roux ] [x] 01:39, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
I agree. It should be included. It was previously. Myself and several others have a fair amount of time invested in that list.Devildave (talk) 20:02, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

– No primary topic. Two topics with this name get basically equal pageviews and neither makes an impression on Google Scholar or Books, suggesting neither has a claim to long-term primary significance. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 01:46, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, and a book search produces numerous references to a name and to the expression in music unrelated to the band, so it would seem to make sense to disambiguate because it doesn't seem likely that the average reader associates the term so strongly with the band to overshadow all this ambiguity. https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Poco indicates a significant amount of organic interest in the band (~17k views/month) so comparing the numbers for the hatnote with that won't really be useful. --Joy (talk) 14:20, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
