Ok, I'm going to do the review for this one. I did a silent era film GA back in my early days of Wiki and having just double checked it, I'm glad to see Rescued by Rover holds up! Anyway, onto the review for this one:

  • Production: The sentence "Lonergan an experienced newspaperman employed by The New York Evening World while writing scripts for the Thanhouser productions." seems misplaced after you've already had a film historian talk about the poem. As I see it, there are two options - the first is either to work it into earlier in the paragraph, or the second (and more simple answer) is to change it to "Lonergan was an experienced..." as at the moment it isn't grammatically correct in the least.
  • Production: Is there any specific reason why it might have been Barry O'Neil?
Bowers writes "Directors in 1910 included Barry O'Neil, Lloyd B. Carleton, and, joining later in the year, Lucius J. Henderson." Carleton left in the summer and Henderson didn't join to late 1910. Given that the productions were typically shot 3-4 weeks in advance it was likely that O'Neil was the director, but exceptions exist. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 14:16, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I had a quick look on newspapers.com but couldn't find anything additionally helpful for the article.
Thank you, I tried searching for some hours as well. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 14:16, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • You've got a few duplicate links in the article. In the first paragraph of Production, John Rolfe and John Smith (explorer) are duplicated, while in release and reception the second paragraph has a duplicate link to The Moving Picture World near the end and the third paragraph has one to The New York Dramatic Mirror at the start.

Other than that, I think this is safe to go for GA. Miyagawa (talk) 10:30, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Miyagawa: Still working on this one. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 14:16, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't look like this has been touched since the above. Are the fixes still being done? Wizardman 20:29, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm stucking this one on hold for the obligatory seven days. Miyagawa (talk) 18:55, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Miyagawa, the extra seven days are up, and the nominator hasn't edited the article since late February. Thanks for persisting, but I think after all this time, closing it as not listed is indeed the way to go; it's been nearly three months since "still working on this one" was posted. Agreed, sadly closing this one now. Miyagawa (talk) 07:44, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
