Incorrect pathophysiology?
[edit]I think the explanation under "pathophysiology" confuses PPC for pneumomediastinum; Macklin effect as a cause for PPC is very rare.
According to a radiology review, some etiologies of PPC are:
Penetrating trauma, surgery/ intervention, barotrauma, infection with gas-forming organisms, and fistulae (rare).
