Could someone who knows something about brown algae add information on the source of the gases? It's an interesting point that they produce carbon monoxide; it would be nice to know about the process (the articles for brown algae, kelp, and CO don't mention this, and google isn't very helpful). It seems as if N2 is their too, presumably from diffusion.Bennetto02:36, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
