Sunday league team
[edit]This article is currently dominated by information about a Sunday League team that apparently has no relationship with the original Plymouth United team, or with the second team formed in the 1940s, other than sharing the name. Personally I think everything to do with the Sunday League team needs to come out of this article, but my attempts to do this were reverted without explanation by an IP editor. I'm inclined to repeat my previous edit, but have no interest in getting involved in an edit war, so before I do that has anyone else got any opinions on the current state of this page? — GasHeadSteve [TALK] 21:29, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
- I believe it is perfectly legitimate to include the Sunday league stuff. You can make it clear in the article that several teams used the name. No one team has ownership of name and it would be ridiculous to separate the article considering it is so small. DjlnDjln (talk) 07:29, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
This team was not founded in 1888
[edit]That was Plymouth Argyle. So I am removing that information. I am reverting back to the PROD. Unless an article can be created about the team from 1944 then this should be deleted. Please see the talk on the football project. Govvy (talk) 07:16, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
