Merger proposal of 11 January 2019

Oppose. No rationale by nominator, no input from any other editor before now, just two links which I keep falling across (for the fourth or fifth time?) in User:DPL bot error reports: Pleasanton and Pleasonton. (WP:MERGE and WP:RM proposals populate the main DPL bot error report, but it's no big deal if a consensus is reached one way or the other within a reasonable time; which nearly four months is not.)

Different places, different spellings, perfectly well handled by the two existing DAB pages with their WP:SEEALSO links. A merger would be more likely to cause confusion than to reduce it. The proposal is a solution looking for a problem, and busywork.
