Plastique Fantastique is artist/architect group (Marco Canevacci, Yena Young) based in Berlin, Germany. Their pneumatic ephemeral installations reactivate urban/nature/museum environment involving public participation cooperating with other artists.
Their works include, LOUD SHADOWS | LIQUID EVENTS at Oerol Festival, Terschelling, The Netherlands, a joint project of Kate Moore, The Stolz, LeineRoebana and Plastique Fantastique with the curator, Kees Lesuis. THE WOODPECKER FROM THE DATABLASE at NGBK(New Society for Visual Arts) Gallery, Berlin, Germany, an exhibition "Floating Utopias" cooperation with Marco Barotti, curated by Artúr van Balen. Der Bandwurm at Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt, Germany, an exhibition “I am a Problem”, staged by Ersan Mondtag, curated by Peter Gorschlüter. AEROPOLIS at Metropolis Festival, Copenhagen, Denmark with the curators, Trevor Davies and Katrien Verwilt.
They exhibit their work titled Blurry Venice at Venice Art Biennale 2019 for Venice Pavilion in Giardini della Biennale.
