Hosts?
[edit]The first section states the parasite has both insect and vertebrate hosts, but a later section says the only known host is a certain lizard. Do we know of any insect hosts, or is the second statement really true? Raymondwinn (talk) 14:57, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
- All known Plasmodium have insect hosts. This is now considered to be a defining characteristic of the genus. In many cases the insect vector is not known. Virion123 (talk) 17:36, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
