There appears to be a little edit battle going between the orchestra and the marching band. Lots of this info is non-encyclopedia, and none of it is referenced.

no battle- just facts were posted, at least by the orchestra. I know that since I am the director and contributor to the wiki. If I am no longer allowed to edit information about my own group, then I would at least like to add some corrections. About the Veto of the Bulldogs Name

As a graduating student from the '01 class of Plano West Senior High School, aka the first graduating class, and having been schooled entirely in the Plano Indepedent School District from Kindergarten until 12th Grade, I can say that in 10th grade at Shepton High School, the president for the upcoming Senior High, Phil Saviano, and his faculty had the student population of both Jasper (only certain students since some go to Plano Senior High School) and Shepton vote on a new mascot since we would be the first class. We voted on the Bulldogs, but the spirit groups, in particular the drill team and their parents, raised concerns that since we would be a "dog" mascot, the females could be teased as "bitches" by rival schools. This was the explanation given to students as to why we had to re-select another mascot in a follow-up vote, in which the Wolf was selected. Apparently even though a wolf is still part of the "canine" family, its selection was upheld. --TSA 03:35, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Did the theatre department really perform the Pink Floyd album? That's where the wikilink is currently pointing. I'm assuming there must have been a musical with a similar name, but we don't seem to have an article about it. Steroids Controversy

The section covers an event from close to ten years ago, and in its present state, is completely uncited. I see no reason why this should be in the article, especially as more recent events (construction, realignment, etc...) are not mentioned. Additrional source required for current enrolment

Can someone find a reliable source to confirm the current enrollment? A recent edit [1] sourced to the University Interscholastic League shows a doubling of the enrollment from 2750 to more than 5500. I have found sources from 4 or 5 years ago that show that a restructuring was expected to increase the school's enrollment significantly, but the projected enrollments were much smaller than 5500. Since the school only has grades 11 and 12, perhaps the Athletic association's number is just an estimate of how many the school would contain if it had all grades, for the purpose of assigning the school to an appropriate division? Meters (talk) 21:29, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

That would be my guess too. Enrollment figures from athletic sanctioning bodies are notoriously unreliable, as they are usually a formulary representation of eligible students, not the actual enrollment. John from Idegon (talk) 22:23, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
