Re: "it is an article about a club that does not assert the importance or significance of the subject."

As stated in the section entitled "Importance and Legacy", the venue was a key setting of Perth's popular music resurgence in the 1990s. It is therefore an important part of the history and culture of popular music in Perth and Australia as a whole and certainly a relic of the times.

It's not exactly CBGB's or Factory, but an important place nonetheless.-— Preceding unsigned comment added by Somerof69 (talkcontribs) 18:06, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure I agree this is any way important... but there is an assertion of importance so speedy deletion is not the correct avenue here.--Isotope23 20:26, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To me, this article reads like original research. I've done a search on Google and can't find any reliable sources that mention the venue's importance. This isn't to say that I don't consider it important, since I spent many, many weekends there watching bands, but I just wanted to highlight the need to expand the article. I'll do a search for a template message that might draw more attention and resources to the cause. Somno (talk) 06:25, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
