Comment on Engineering Jargon
[edit]"Odd acronyms" are a way of life for engineers, doctors, technicians in general, and instant-messengering users. I think the following sentence ought to be removed from the article because it makes the section sound absurd, and besides that it's unreferenced.
Lutz cites also the inability of Three Mile Island and Challenger decision makers to comprehend warnings in vague engineering jargon using odd acronyms.
