Early Cretaceous?!
[edit]Untitled
[edit]Alright, who put that Placerias survived into the Early Cretaceous. It died out in the late Triassic, back in the Carnian and Norian periods.Metalraptor (talk) 16:17, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- The citation is in the article = Thulborn, T. & Turner, S. 2003. The last dicynodont: an Australian Cretaceous relict. Proceedings of the Royal Society of London B 270, 985-993.--Kevmin (talk) 17:24, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Even the six fragmentary bones somehow turn out to be a dicynodont, I doubt they'd be Placerias. First off, Placerias lived on the other side of the world. Second, if it is a dicynodont, it should be in the general dicynodont section, not in the Placerias section Metalraptor (talk) 14:42, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Correct. They have found a relict dicynodont from the EK. In no way it it Placerias. There are many, many, many species of dicynodont besides Placerias. Dinoguy2 (talk) 00:15, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Crap refs
[edit]The references for this article suck. Walking with Dinosaurs is NOT a quality source, despite the cool pictures. 76.112.48.72 (talk) 00:00, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
