use by wikipedia of the Seal of the Royal Burgh of Pittenwem
[edit]The use of the Seal of the Royal burgh of Pittenweem by Wikipedia IS ILLEGAL. The belongs to the Royal Burgh of Pittenweem Community Council and must not be used by anybody or organisation without prior permission. As the site is hosted in the USA, fair use policy is going to apply. Wikipedia is not making any money from use of the seal and since no-one in Fife seems to know there even is a seal, guarding it a bit less zealously may be the way forward! Also, this is the page for discussion about the article on Pittenweem. There is another page devoted to the seal 62.6.161.131 (talk) 11:54, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Tornerse
[edit]I'd be impressed if anyone could find a citation for this on-line. A simple search on google reveals that there is one person with the psudonym "tornerse" on Bebo. All the links from google are either to his profile or to copies of this wikipedia article. 62.6.161.131 (talk) 11:50, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Copyvio
[edit]I have removed several paragraphs from the Religion section as they appeared to be a copyright violation. They were added to this article in 2007 in this edit by an IP editor, but appear word for word dated 2006 on the BBC website here. --Deskford (talk) 22:57, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Pittenweem. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20110609152620/http://www.fifedirect.org.uk/uploadfiles/publications/c64_Population06Leaflet.pdf to http://www.fifedirect.org.uk/uploadfiles/publications/c64_Population06Leaflet.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
