Fair use rationale for Image:Pitney Bowes logo.png
Image:Pitney Bowes logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
This article looks really...more like a sales pitch. Can someone do something (not me)? Kultur 15:16, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Marketing article
As commented in the logo category, most of this article has the style, polish, and 'optimism' that comes out of a company's marketing/legal division. There is actual substance to most of the article, but a lot of empty, positive phrases take up space yet sound meaningful. Example: "1992 - A new age of integrated mail processing begins with the launch of a new system that automatically calculates and affixes postage based on weight and size of mail." The release of the system would be of interest, but being a 'new age' is going a bit far. --68.176.138.188 05:15, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yep. I've pared the article down, removed the marketing language, and kept the essentials about the company's history, services, achievements, and offerings. Robert K S (talk) 09:34, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Folding?
I know that they are closing the PSI division here in Maryland. Are they closing it anywhere else. And, I know the PSI here employed at least forty people? Should this be mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.166.68.64 (talk) 19:32, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
