Per Wikipedia's guidelines ....
What is, "PER WIKIPEDIA'S GUIDELINES AND POLICIES REGARDING PLOTS, PLEASE DO NOT ADD ANYMORE INFORMATION TO THIS PLOT", right after the plot? I don't want to add anything, but what Wikipedia guideline does this refer to? This seems suspiciously like someone who doesn't want their personal policy violated. Val42 04:10, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Several guidelines and policies actually. Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Style guidelines#Plot, and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction)#Fair use. It's there to let people know that Wikipedia is not a substitution for watching the film. It's one thing to copy edit a plot section, and another to add specifics that are unnecessary. I don't know which you plan to do, because you didn't say what you wanted to add. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 04:21, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

90% of the roads on the island?
The article states that the "500-strong crew occupied around 90% of the roads on the island." It seems unlikely that almost every road on the island would be taken over for the film. Might this be a typo for "90% of the rooms"? - SimonP 01:48, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- No, they said roads. Unless my ears deceive me: Disney doesn't put English subtitles on their DVD extras. Alientraveller 11:48, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Escape from Monkey Island quote?
When sailing to Jambalaya Island (on the PS2 version, which is what I've got), Carla says "Loose the Kraken!" in the middle of a bunch of other familiar-sounding movie quotes... but the game came out before PotC was released. Are they both referring to some earlier movie quote? Or is the Pirates quote a throwback to Escape from Monkey Island? But then, the others say movie quotes... - Not unless you have a... reliable source. I feel like a broken record player. Alientraveller 13:43, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
