Re-work on article
[edit]I've re-worked the majority of this article, in order to improve flow, remove a lot of content which whilst interesting doesn't meet Wikipedia:Neutral Point of View and is also largely unsourced. The sections had become a bit disparate, often repeating similar information in different places. Have now tried to consolidate all of this into the decade breakdowns, plus new small sections on the relationship between the internet and pirate radio which seems pertinent in this day and age, plus break down of cultural references to include documentaries also. Thanks to Stephen Hebditch whom I (unavoidably!) heavily reference on this, but his book and site is really the most definitive history of all things UK pirate radio land-based. Still plan to expand the 1990s section soon which is my own particular interest. Altlondon (talk) 13:20, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
The big red box
[edit]I have no idea how to edit the big red box (Top-right) but Radio Invicta should be added to the list of pirate stations, and Radio Caroline should now be added to the list of 'Former pirate radio stations now licensed'. Deke42 (talk) 13:59, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
