Separate page for Sequel?
[edit]Should Piranha 3DD be made into a separate page now that it has a cast, start date and release date? Jmacgrath (talk) 09:23, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- Personally, I think so, but I'm new to Wikipedia. Sethisapanda (talk) 05:13, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Not filmed in 3D?
[edit]The 3D trailer showing in front of Avatar is not dual-camera. The stereoscopic "surface" is a false second perspective created using push-pull distortion. This is clear to me because I'm quite fond of 3D, and I "get" random-dot 3d images right away. However, it may not be apparent to many people unaccustomed to 3D. --75.173.83.53 (talk) 06:41, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Completely irrelevant to the article unless you have sources. 72.201.219.192 (talk) 10:19, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Wild Wild Girls
[edit]References at bottom: Wild Wild Girls, appears to be spam. Not sure if this is directly related to Pirana. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.102.194.197 (talk) 20:47, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Wild Wild Girls is a video series featured in the film. They're using it as viral advertising as well. Jerry O'Connell has said in several interviews that his character is based off of Joe Francis, the man behind the Girls Gone Wild franchise. In fact, Francis has threatened litigation over the film. Now that it's opened, it should be interesting to see if he follows through. Eticketjedi (talk) 18:34, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Real Horror Movie?
[edit]Is this supposed to be sort of a tongue-in-cheek horror movie? Because the trailers have seemed kind of sarcastic in nature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.192.58.206 (talk) 21:54, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Unpaid effects artists
[edit]We got unpaid visual effects artists again. Needs to be in the article.76.120.66.57 (talk) 06:15, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Ensemble cast?
[edit]An ensemble cast is like Ocean's 11, where there are over 6 or 7 main actors all well-known and get roughly equal amounts of screen time. The summary just lists like 3 B-listers, 20-something-year-old up-and-comers and porno stars. If this is an "ensemble cast," what isn't? ChesterG (talk) 06:44, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- You are right in my mind. -Koppapa (talk) 11:16, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Plot tag
[edit]Considering how ridiculously long the plot section is -- it's full of nonsensically trivial information, some of it based upon original interpretations not actually present in the movie -- and the fact that more than one person has added the tag, please do not remove the tag unless the problem is actually fixed. DreamGuy (talk) 20:18, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
- The plot is only 760 words. We generally don't tag unless it's well over the 700 word guideline. I do agree it needs some pruning for interpretation, though. Millahnna (talk) 09:39, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
Last names.
[edit]Can anyone provide any sources for the surnames like Arslow, Driscoll, Shepard? Also, I have arranged the cast order in the order they were listed during the opening credits.
