See WP:LISTCRUFT and related articles for why long lists are a bad idea. I deleted the nearby villages list altogether, I've moved the Famous Persons list here. In general it's a good rule of thumb that you only put people on a "famous residents" list if they are notable enough to have Wiki articles of their own.
