Um, righto, what's the deal with "magic powers"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.49.200.190 (talk) 06:24, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Thomas? Either that's the greatest coincidence ever or they're not as uncontacted as thought. Or was this just a name given to the boy after 'discovery'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by TF100 (talk • contribs) 23:20, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Although coincidences do happen, it's pretty obvious that this is a post-contact name. If anyone knows his pre-contact name, they're welcome to add it to the article. DS (talk) 14:38, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Found it myself; his pre-contact name was "Tamlik". DS (talk) 16:38, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
Photos
[edit]I can find no CC images of the Pintupi Nine, either from the past or present. If anyone has any or can take some with their permission and post them here or to Wikimedia, it would be much appreciated.Thoralor (talk) 09:25, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
Richters family
[edit]The Pintupi 9 weren't the last to live as hunter-gatherers: that was the Richters family who came out of the Great Victoria Desert in 1986.[1] Jack Upland (talk) 01:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have created an article: Richters (Australian Aboriginal family).--Jack Upland (talk) 03:43, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
