Marilyn Monroe single
[edit]There is a no reliable source that said the single release was scrapped. If there isn't, that this info shouldn't be included and the info that a single was released should be kept. 和DITOREtails 22:19, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- The single status of 'Marilyn Monroe' was already discussed on this talk page (later deleted when the page was cleaned) and it was agreed that it was NOT a single. The UK radio release does not mean it qualifies for 'single status' especially since neither Minaj nor her team has confirmed this. The release was scrapped considering it did win the poll on her website and was later abondoned (No Video, No Promo, No Updates). If you continue to add it to the article your edits WILL BE reverted. - tails, You pointed out that there isn't a reliable source stating that the single was scrapped, but as far as I can see, there isn't actually a reliable source saying it was released to radio, as a single. If you can find a reliable source, that states that Marilyn Monroe was sent to British radio as a single, than I will personally include it within the article. - Are you sure you checked the Marilyn Monroe song article, cause there should be a source citing that info in the release and reception section. 和DITOREtails 20:23, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- tails, If you are referring to this [1], which is the closest thing on the article giving information on radio release. Then I believe that you don't quite understand the concept. This source gives a list of songs that are slated to be released to radio. That doesn't give the song "single status" and doesn't actually guarantee that it will be sent. But, the source aforementioned does actually give a good example to explain this. As you will see, on the Nov 5, 2012, there were two "The Wanted" songs being sent to radio. But, you can check for yourself, only one was actually a single. Besides, the source listed isn't the best. It isn't a well known, respected publication which could possibly mean it's listings may not be accurate. As I said earlier, if you can find a reliable source that back up your claims then you may modify as required. KaneZolanski (talk) 20:50, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
