What's the deal?

[edit]

What's the deal with these ad spam delete messages? Per the Advertising page, this is a legitimate page, that just needs expansion.

"However, a differentiation should be made between spam articles and legitimate articles about commercial entities."

Not to be confused with...

[edit]

If this article survives WP:CSD, then mention should be made that this is not the same as Thomas Pink clothing stores. --StuffOfInterest 14:55, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the last paragraph needs to be rewritten. I sounds like an advertisement.

VS Pink was founded in 2002, not 1986 or any other year!

[edit]

There is this misconception that Pink was founded in 1986 because some gear from the store has 1986 printed on it. I can see why people are confused. For example, Roots Canada will show its year of foundation (1973) on some clothing. When it comes to Pink, though, it was actually founded in 2002, as the Wall Street Journal reports. There are a few rumours as to why 1986 is on some gear, but it has nothing to do with the actual launch of Pink. I hope that visitors will keep that in mind and stop adding false information on the page. Thanks. --LABcrabs (talk) 06:17, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pastor and father says no to Pink on HLN

[edit]

http://youtube.com/watch?v=m47M3n-RteE I might write a prose about this. If someone else wants to, feel free to go for it. This was on March 30, 2013 to boycott the Bright Young Things line. --LABcrabs (talk) 04:59, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Photo in the header

[edit]

As far as I know, Pink's latest store have a "Life is Pink is Life" storefront banner, with "Pink" being in big capital letters, while the rest uses minuscule cursive. This is true for the October 2016 and April 2017 stores in Ottawa, the latter (at Rideau Centre) now closed. Older stores (CrossIron Mills, Chinook Centre, the Vancouver one currently in the infobox, etc.) used the "Victoria's Secret Pink" (in all caps) photo that is currently in the infobox. I'll see when I can upload store with the "Life is" storefront, and I believe that this should be the one in the infobox. --LABcrabs (talk) 22:38, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
