The pink tailed worm lizard or granite worm lizard is found in Australia as stated in this entry. This lizard is unique in that it is legless and is pink- in my opinion, this is the most interesting thing about the lizard. From the photo, it is evident that the lizard is a mix of a worm and a snake and therefore does not fall under the typical image of a lizard. One strength of this entry is that it includes the genetics and anatomy of the lizard. Specifically, it discusses the genetic differences between males and females. This outline does not discuss the enemies such as predators of pink tailed worm lizards. The outline also does not talk about parasites or diseases. The entry also fails to mention physiology such as gustation, thermoregulation, or locomotion. It is important that the entry discusses these things so that readers can get a more holistic view of the lizard. Another thing that the outline does not discuss is home range and territoriality, which is important because it keys the readers into the migration patterns of the pink tailed worm lizard. The article was marked as being low importance on the project’s importance scale. There are no comments on the Talk page, so I am assuming that not many people have seen this page yet.
