File:Carduelis pinus CT7.jpg to appear as POTD soon
[edit]Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Carduelis pinus CT7.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on February 26, 2012. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2012-02-26. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! —howcheng {chat} 22:16, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
siskin comparison section
[edit]Why exactly is there an extensive section detailing all of the morphological differences with the european siskin? This is not a practical identification issue anybody will have (due to their entirely non-overlapping ranges) and it seems rather arbitrary to have a detailed comparison between these two species but no mention of comparison with any other siskins... Map legend?
[edit]It seems to me the distribution map needs a legend. What does each color indicate?
