Quality
I have flagged this article for quality as I think it is nowhere near encyclopaedia standard. Too much slang and incorrect usage is included in the text, such as the repeated incorrect use of the word "pimp." I'll do some work on it myself soon, but I'd appreciate any help going when it comes to cleaning it up. FergusM1970 (talk) 01:24, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Madonna video
Since I do not have access to MTV, I cannot write this on the main page, I heard Madonna had her Ford Transit pimped out by Carisma Automotive, the people who did the cars from the UK show for her new video with heavy reference to the show. Is that worth an inclusion? Willirennen 16.27 1 mar 2006 (utc)
Pimp My Ride was featured along with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on an episode of The Boondocks.witch is cool
{{spoiler}}
In this episode, Riley cons the shows to improve the car and house respectively, disguising his granddad as a blind person who helps house homeless people. (The plan backfired in the end, when Granddad celebrated after SEEING the improvements to his pimped out ride.)

Seperate Articles (Pimp My Ride worldwide)
There should be seperate Wikipedia:What is an article? regarding all programs (Pimp My Fahrrad, Pimp My Whatever, and Pimp My Wheels). The infobox only includes the U.S. version of Pimp My Ride and focuses only on that show.
so go and look and cheack it out

Can I remove the criticisms section?
The criticism section seems pretty irrelevant, it consists of one link to an article which doesn't actually discuss Pimp My Ride or anything to do with the programme:
http://arts.guardian.co.uk/news/story/0,,1864252,00.html
It's someone who objects to the casual use of the word "pimp", but that's where the article's connection with PMR stops. There's no evidence in the article that the author has ever even watched PMR, they don't even discuss it at all. It's about the word "pimp", not the TV programme that uses that word in its title.
An Interesting Idea
How about we can design the tables to place it in the vehicle's names, owners, conditions and special parts placed. Does that sound good? Professional Gamer 25 October 2006
Pimp My Ride 2011??
It's been rumoured that PMR might be back with all new episodes by the fall of 2011. Lady Gaga might be the new host.
- Gaga, yeah right. Come to think of it: could do for a good April Fools, though. :P -andy 77.190.62.244 (talk) 09:14, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Copyrighted material ?
The following part of the article:
Much of the appeal of the show comes from the personalities involved. The WCC employees are an eclectic mix of outgoing personalities, such as:
- Owner Ryan (who was preceded by the good-natured manager Q),
- The appropriately named Big Dane,
- Electronics (and outrageous engineering) expert Mad Mike,
- Tough-looking interior and fabric maven Ish,
- The heavily pierced tire-specialist Alex, and
- Paint and body expert Buck.

So.. what's up with that ?

list of the crew
maybe an idea to add a list of the crew and the season they appeared in. Preferably with pictures or a group picture with numbers.
I spotted two of the crew at an airport in holland, but I don't know their names or where I can find those. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.170.27.83 (talk) 18:40, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Help correct Corrected a Season 3 line item
There is currently a line item for the Chevy S10: "This truck was the first one to feature a tattoo graphic art & not some stencil art you see on all customized cars.". This statement has obvious problems, but would best be fixed by someone with a better overview of the show to that point than myself. The grammar in the statement is so poor I am likely to just delete it soon, but there might be a valid point in there. --Charles Gaudette 16:41, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Pimp My Ride logo.jpg
Image:Pimp My Ride logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Contradictory sentence
"Most changes are only cosmetic, and mechanical work is generally only done to enable the car to run; the show has replaced entire engines with new engines."
Seems to say at first that it's rare to do anything but cosmetic work (which is untrue), then the second half says they have replaced entire engines, as if that somehow proves the first part...? Makes no sense in the context. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.136.192.1 (talk) 19:11, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Payment controversies?
Don't ask me where I read that (it was in some magazine in 2010) but there were definitely some disputes about how to get all those modifications financed. Plus, I clearly remember a whole section telling about great sums of money still owed (and not paid to this day) to WCC, which "may even make a court trial mandatory to pay us for our work." Am I the only one who has read about that? -andy 77.190.62.244 (talk) 09:19, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
