This is the first new article I have created. Much of the material for the article was derived from the University of Texas Library website ([1]). The library allows use of its own copyrighted material for educational purposes without prior permission as long as the site is referenced as a source, as told in the library's Web Material Usage Statement ([2]). Since Wikipedia is intended for educational purposes, I see no problem using the material. I am aware of the rules governing copyrighted material and I believe I have acted within both Wikipedia's and the Univeristy of Texas at Austin Library's guidelines for using such material. If my use of this material conflicts with Wikipedia policy, appropriate changes can be made to the article.
