discrepancies in on-line information on "founding members"
[edit]I'll note that various sources give different indications of the original members of the group; some list Michael Tracy, while others state that he joined the group later on; some list Lee Harris, others do not mention him at all. I have opted for the sources that seemed more scholarly, indicating that Harris was an original member, but not Tracy (I also note that Harris is listed as choreographer on the group's very earliest pieces, but not Tracy). It would perhaps be useful to find a definitive answer, as the group's own website has almost nothing on their history. Dyanega 19:35, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Origin of the Name?
[edit]Is there any information about the company's name? Is there a tie-in with the fungus of the same name? -- 84.109.187.18 (talk) 00:52, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
POV warning I added
[edit]Without attribution, the following appear in this article's introduction:
- ...fervent...consistently proving...diversely expressive...universally powerful...manages to maintain its own singular style...the best and brightest minds...master...world-renowned...moving, clever, and always employing human bodies in truly amazing ways...transformed from avant garde dance company into an international entertainment brand...without ever losing sight of their core mission...groups looking to be productively creative in a wide array of disciplines.
Clearly needs a rewrite to move from advertising copy to encyclopedia. Thmazing (talk) 04:50, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. Note the word-for-word copy-paste between the introduction and text on the Pinkline Project page. 150.101.157.241 (talk) 06:05, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
