[edit]I'm not sure the concept of a pill container is notable enough for its own article. Maybe it should be merged into pill as a section. Thoughts? - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 00:40, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- There are plenty of sources on pill containers, describing their history and what they are used for, besides other things. I am undergoing a little confusion, as the term "pillbox" has multiple meanings regarding pills, including the one pictured. Over the next several days, you should see this article and the number of references grow. Tatterfly (talk) 00:45, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- OK, fair enough. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:42, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm not opposed to the pill container having it's own page, I am opposed to pillbox and pill box redirecting here instead of the dismbig page. Beach drifter (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- This I am willing to change. It may take a little time to get this accomplished. Tatterfly (talk) 01:00, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Need better photo
[edit]The photo on this page is really poor, as it shows a very atypical use of a pill organizer. A pill organizer isn't typically used to separate out different medications into their own little buckets. Rather, it is typically used to ensure people take the correct pills on the correct days (or times). Therefore, most pill organizers will tend to have the same assortment of pills in each bucket. - I searched Wikipedia Commons and found a picture to replace the old one. It's not ideal for showing typical usage, but at least it's not misleading. Reify-tech (talk) 17:45, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
New forms in this genre of accessory
[edit]Fabric bags as fashion accessories? I'm sure we can find a few other form factors that represent slightly more popular or innovative forms of pill container design. there are pen shaped, keychain fob, jewelry with hidden compartments etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.71.75.130 (talk) 18:00, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
