Pike Creek State School
[edit]Given it operated from 1973 to 1976 and the Glenlyon Dam across Pike Creek was built 1972 to 1976, I suspect this was a school for the children living in the workers' camp for the dam construction. In which case it may be closer to the dam and not in Pikes Creek at all. The Queensland State Archives has a file called Pike Creek Dam School which adds to my suspicion.
