Although, Pigeon John is a professing Christian, his musical genre is not Christian. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Unseen626 (talk • contribs) 22:03, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't agree with that... and I bet he wouldn't agree with that. Better revise it to "his musical genre is not specifically Christian." Like, just because you're a Christian doesn't mean everything you do is going to be theological, just like just because you're a Republican or a Democrat doesn't mean everything you do is going to be political. --134.193.112.148 (talk) 07:06, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Artist is listed under "performers of Christian hop hop" category and is well known on the Christian music scene. I don't know much about "underground" rap, but the majority of his exposure comes from Christian media and festivals, intro should definitely make mention of both, not attempt to obscure that fact. - This isn't really true anymore. Now his exposure is coming from opening for bigger-name acts, such as DJ Shadow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.217.24.204 (talk) 14:56, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
The Holy Hip Hop Database has him listed under "Christian" Hip Hop, The website One21music.com lists him as a "Christian artist to know" Risen magazine and the christianrock20.com list him as a Christian artist. [4] [5] [6] [7]Billfruge (talk) 17:04, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Used to be Christian, now apparently isn't
[edit]his latest record refers to "the things I used to stand for" and talks about his christianity strictly in the past tense. i think he was somehow involved in the downfall of red cloud --134.193.112.58 (talk) 01:59, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
