This is not some kind of small time thing we're talking about here. Pig candy is the next big food and you can't shut it down just because Im not a chef. I mean what if this becomes the next new food group. We'll all look silly. I mean come on guys, some women wrote a book on this [[1]]. This is an American pastime. Don't let it go the way o the dodo. Chillax and make sure that we don't make a mistake we would really regret. Collegeprofessor123 (talk) 22:28, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While I disagree with the above users arguments (the book is not about Pig Candy, and Wikipedia does not predict the future), a casual Google search reveals a large number of hits, and the article (while it needs a lot of work) does, at the least, not qualify for CSD A1. Note: I am not endorsing the current article nor the editor who created it, and I have no objection to a delete. I don't want to see this dragged through an AfD if it clearly needs to be written from scratch, so I'm all for a snowball delete. Just saying that the topic may be notable. I love you. Have you read the book? Collegeprofessor123 (talk) 22:39, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, but the editorial reviews make it clear that the book is about a daughter/father relationship, and that the Pig Candy is just incidental. (EhJJ)TALK 22:43, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
