I removed the seven YouTube links added by Maynus (talk · contribs) to the body of the article, following the logic in WP:ELNO #1. The speaker in the videos, Sergei Kalinin, is a subject-matter expert in PFM, so the information is likely accurate. However, I assume that the content in those videos is already well-documented in peer-reviewed papers written by Sergei Kalinin and his collaborators. I think that those papers should be used as references in the article instead of external links to YouTube. Please discuss here if you have any thoughts on why these links should be included in the article (presumably in the External links section). Thanks for your reply on removal of the youtube links. However, learners visit wikipedia page primarily at the start of their journey into a new subject. In this matter, videos are more effective learning medium than research articles. Also, I would like to point out that different readers learn using different media. Some people learn from video presentations better than the written content. In addition, videos presenter arranges information in a more digestible form, which proves more useful for learners who are starting in the field. Considering important utility of the videos for the learning of wikipedia readers, I would request you to reinstate video links. Maynus (talk) 19:17, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
