Another Pierre Koch ??

For now it is not yet clear whether or not there was another notable French civil engineer named Pierre Koch!? In 1960 there was a notable Pierre Koch, director of Water and Sanitation in Paris. He made important contribution to water sanitation, wrote several books, and around 2000 a Pierre Koch Medal was named after him. -- Mdd (talk) 13:46, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

It has become clear, that both people are one and the same. This civil engineer of the City of Paris still active in 1960 and retired in 1967. Of the people participating in the first informal INTERNET meeting in 1964 he was the one with the most publications. It is only logical that he was the main author in the publication of the proceedings of the first INTERNET congress in 1967 in Vienna. -- Mdd (talk) 12:19, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
