Documentation on birth and death years?
[edit]Find-A-Grave gives birth and death years inconsistent with this article, but article gives no sources, so can't be checked. Research? --Alvestrand (talk) 13:27, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Prove it!
[edit]I challenge the claim that Legnani was appointed prima ballerina assoluta. What is the authority for this statement? Please give reliable reference, and note that I do not question her quality, just the title. See longer discussion under Ballerina talk page. Macdonald-ross (talk) 16:20, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Despite my skepticism, the pba is confirmed by encyclopedia, ref given in article. Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:40, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Not true David Vaughn!!
[edit]ROH's "ballet evolved" lectures are shockingly bad. The claim regarding Legnanis denial of the number of foutees she performed is untrue, and the historian David Vaughn in the YouTube video needs to get his history together. In all likelyhood Legnani was referring to a particular performance in the album he refers to, not her abilities. There are far to many contemporary accounts that she did 32 foutees to claim she only did 12 -- mrlopez2681 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8804:5801:130:E4BB:A8B6:8A4F:8E5B (talk) 02:28, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
