North of the railway line
[edit]Is the Pier Street that currently runs from Moore St to Brisbane St the same Pier St as this article? Presumably it was, before the crossing was closed. Should the northern section get more of a mention in the article? Mitch Ames (talk) 08:22, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- yes it is, personally the north of the rail line part is different, would prefer to keep separate, but its interesing to see if anyone else is interested. JarrahTree 12:49, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- We mention the Northbridge side for Milligan St, wouldn't hurt to do the same here. The Drover's Wife (talk)
- Does anybody know when it was closed? Apparently it was sometime between 1951 and 1955 (caption of 3rd photo). Mitch Ames (talk) 13:26, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- Not sure it's a clear cut thing from the Trove sources. See: [1]. [2]. [3]. The Drover's Wife (talk) 14:31, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
