Pure Imagination Production

[edit]

It is cited in the Production tab on this article that Piece by Piece was produced by Pure Imagination Studios. It should be under the Production Companies tab even though it is not on the billing block on the poster as it is cited within the article on Wikipedia and otherwise could get confused. I have to clarify. The poster does not include them. The intertitle at the end of the latest trailer does not include them. They are not production companies. They simply helped create the film.
Industrial Light & Magic is a company that works on many films. They are never credited as a production company. Wētā FX is a company that works on many films. They are not a production company. This is the deal with Pure Imagination Studios and "Tongal".
Hope this helps clarify! BarntToust (talk) 19:02, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To explain the difference:

[edit]

"In association with" credits, held in this film by Tongal and "Pure Imagination Studios", are distinct from the status of production company.

A recent discussion at Talk:Deadpool_&_Wolverine#20th_Century_Studios may be helpful for those not familiar with the concept difference. BarntToust (talk) 13:32, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

The premise is too short someone needs to add a plot HiGuys69420 (talk) 03:35, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

too early to call it "financially unsuccessful?"

[edit]

it says the film was basically a flop, but here's the thing; piece by piece doesn't release internationally until november 8, so isn't it a bit too early to write that? Toshibafansandmore (talk) 03:26, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah, sorry, i thought it failed worldwide, I was absolutely pissed that Focus Features forgot to market and advertise it, First of all The Northman which costs $90 MILLION (Which I don't understand why Robert Eggers didn't give it to Universal Pictures) flopped at the box Office grossing $69 million, second The Bikeriders costs $40 million (which it's originally distributed by 20th Century Studios which would've been better) flopped at the box Office grossed only $36 million, and now Piece By Piece. Like why didn't Focus Features just fire their useless marketing team. now that Universal Pictures is making Live Action Lego Movies, no animated versions. ANYTHING! I KNEW UNIVERSAL SOLD THE LEGO MOVIE RIGHTS WAS A BAD IDEA! Sorry if I got carried away...I just want their movies to be successful. 196.65.136.54 (talk) 18:40, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
interesting discussion, but that... doesn't really answer my question... like, at all Toshibafansandmore (talk) 20:40, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
